Weie Flotte GmbH

For the last 60 years, Stralsund based company Weie Flotte has been operating day-trip and ferry services in the Federal State of Mecklenburg-West Pomerania jointly with its subsidiary Reederei Hiddensee. Modern passenger vessels of the Boddenkreuzer type, a cargo ferry as well as fast water taxis make up the fleet that connects the two islands of Hiddensee and Rugen all year round. During the summer months, the timetable is supplemented with sailings from Stralsund, Wiek Dranske, Barth and Zingst. New or modernised passenger/ car vessels are deployed for ferry services in Warnemunde (Hohe Dune), Wittower Fahre (Rugen) and Stahlbrode Glewitz (Rugen). A larger programme of harbour trips rounds off the products on offer. Weie Flotte and Reederei Hiddensee carry annually 3.4 million passengers and 846,000 vehicles.
