Founded in 1995 by Digby Wareing, Wesant initially started out manufacturing hoist gates out of the family garage. This small family business has since grown into one of South Africas largest manufacturers of passenger elevators, goods hoists, dumbwaiters and platform lifts. Over and above this, Wesant also provides various electrical components (electrical, guides, locks and safeties) for lifting equipment. The Wesant family has now grown to over 26 full time employees with its head office and factory now based in Pinetown, Kwazulu Natal.
