WestBIC

Established in 1987, WestBIC is the EU Business and Innovation Centre servicing the Border, Midlands and West Region of Ireland. EU Business and Innovation Centres (EC-BICs) are an amalgam of best practice from around the world forming a regional instrument to foster and promote Innovation and Entrepreneurship. WestBIC provides innovation services to value-added start-ups, and knowledge-based, early stage, innovative enterprise through its strategically located offices in the region. Currently, WestBIC carries a portfolio of over 300 innovative SMEs, exporting and creating high-value jobs in the region. Enterprises are supported from concept to commercialisation and into early stage growth, focusing on product development, marketing, human resources, IT and finance. WestBIC has in place a multi-skilled team and talent pool of experts to assist developing businesses to reach targeted growth objectives and capture international markets
