When WCS sees the opportunity to give back we do our best to participate. This year we are fundraising for Developing World Connections Kilimanjaro Challenge. Developing World Connections is an international development non-profit based in Kamloops, B.C. They mobilize people and resources to help build important infrastructure projects in many of the worlds poorest regions. Developing World Connections Kilimanjaro Challenge is a fundraising charity climb of the tallest free-standing mountain in the world. Proceeds from this initiative will help build a school in a slum community of Freetown, Sierra Leone, and ensure DWCs long-term commitment to the communities around the world in which it works. We are also recruiting companies to become Base Camp Sponsors for this event.
