Western Shoppe has been supplying and meeting the needs of the evolving Southern African horse lover since 1975. Stocking everything HORSE, Western Shoppe caters for multiple equestrian types, disciplines, needs and budgets. The first Western Shoppe, opened in 1975 by Mannie and Darryl Gershow in rural Rivonia, had a distinct Western theme with wagon wheels at the front door and a comprehensive denim jean offering in-store. The business expanded over many years to cater for a broader and growing equestrian market, collecting a larger operating team and also welcomed a new partner in 2012. Deon Augustyn, also a passionate equestrian, brought years of corporate experience in operations, logistics and finance to lead and further fine tune Western Shoppes operations.
