Westgate Basketball Association

Westgates mission is to provide vibrant, enjoyable and well organised basketball that is inclusive and accessible to communities in the Inner West. Westgate Basketball is a relatively new, not-for-profit association being only 8 years old, managed and operated entirely by volunteers. Our association catchment in the Inner West suburbs of Melbourne includes some of the most disadvantaged communities in Australia. With increased costs associated with venue hire, paid referees and travel, many families are being priced out of having their kids play hoops. Our competitions and programs provide players with pathways for progression consistent with their skill level and aspirations, including the ability to compete for the Imperials at a state representative level.
