Founded already in 1994, WG Film is one of the most prominent and longest standing independent documentary film production companies in Sweden, with a strong track record in producing creative documentaries both in Sweden and on an international scale. Films, such as Bananas!*, Burma Vj, Big Boys Gone Bananas!*, Bikes vs Cars, Dead Donkeys Fear No Hyenas, Jozi Gold, and PUSH have been acclaimed by audiences around the world at renown festivals such as Sundance, Cannes, IDFA, Berlinale, Hot Docs, SXSW and CPH:DOX. Our high priority is engagement with community groups. Our work with outreach has become a critical component of our company. By keeping our audience close, we gain inspiration and energy back.
