WHCP 91.7 FM Launched on July 15, 2023 providing information and inspiration that helps Marylands Mid-Shore flourish. We do this by being obsessively local. We are the only NPR member station located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. We Provide a platform for local talent to share their favorite music genres. We serve as the voice of our community through community journalists who provide local news and information We fill the news desert left by other media abandoning this area, including adding NPR programs Morning Edition and All Things Considered.
