Wikimedia Nederland

The mission of the Wikimedia Nederland is that of the entire Wikimedia movement: Imagine a world in which everyone can freely make use of the whole of all human knowledge. Wikimedia Netherland is part of the global Wikimedia movement and provides the Netherlands with an environment where volunteers and organizations work together to gather and disseminate free knowledge. Wikimedia Nederland encourages people and organizations to apply free licenses and contribute to the Wikimedia projects. We inform the public about the concept of free knowledge, Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects, and about the Wikimedia movement. Wikimedia Netherland assumes that free knowledge and free licenses can be successfully applied and are a valuable contribution to society.
