Wild Impact

Wild Impact (previously known as Africa Foundation) is a registered, non-profit organisation in South Africa that uplifts, up- skills and empowers rural communities primarily living adjacent to conservation areas. Using methods developed in rural villages over the years, Wild Impact has partnered with 73 communities to provide support and assistance across Africa, from KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga in South Africa, to Tanzania and Kenya in East Africa, as well as Botswana, Mozambique and Namibia in Southern Africa. Founded in 1992, Wild Impact is an independent, non-profit, tax-exempt organisation registered in South Africa, Tanzania the United States and the United Kingdom. Together with eco-tourism operators &Beyond and in consultation with the communities themselves, Wild Impact facilitates socio-economic development of rural communities, predominantly those living in or adjacent to conservation areas, which assists in the protection of Africas heritage.
