Wilson Nurseries

Wilson Nurseries is Kentuckys destination garden center for good reason. Our year-round nursery includes more than four acres of greenhouses where we grow our own plants. Being our own grower allows us to control the process from start to finish, offering you only the highest-quality locally grown plants. We have a long history in the bluegrass. We were founded by Charles Wilson in 1979 as a landscaping contracting firm and retail garden center. Due to his energy, love of horticulture and pure grit, we became established in Frankfort as the place to go for fine plants & landscaping. As our growth continued, so did our need to expand. In 2001, we debuted our current retail nursery & garden center and it was then that we blossomed and began to look more as we do today. More recently, we opened our our on-site restaurant in Frankfort, Sage Garden Cafe, & opened the doors of our Lexington nursery to the public.
