Wisconsin Crop Innovation Center

The Wisconsin Crop Innovation Center (WCIC) is a plant transformation center set up by the University of Wisconsin (UW) and is located in Middleton, WI. We transform crops for many academic clients who originate from within the UW, and other universities throughout the US and the World. We also work with private clients who have not yet set up their own transformation capacity. Our fee-for-service work involves either the over-expression of genes of interest or gene editing transformations.
