Wisconsin International Academy

The Wisconsin International Academy (WIA) mission of bridging cultures is accomplished through the recruitment of international students while providing them with a safe environment, cultivating self-discipline within them, strengthening their English language skills, and fostering a culture that encourages their academic success not only for the present but also for the future. WIA began in 2012 and is in its fourth successful year of operation. We began in a temporary location in Glendale, WI for two years and have been in our permanent location in Wauwatosa, WI for just over 1 1/5 years. WIA partners with 5 area high schools in order to help in the college preparation process. The partner schools are Pius XI High School , Dominican High School, Martin Luther High School, St. Thomas More High School, and Catholic Memorial High School.
