WMAR airs an in-depth investigative news program, In Focus, Monday-Friday at 6 p.m. The station produces 22.5 hours of newscast every week and constantly explores opportunities for live streaming during breaking news and severe weather. WMAR was the first television station in Baltimore to expand its weekday morning newscast to 4:30 a.m. Baltimore is the largest city in Maryland and home to WMAR-TV, a Scripps-owned station since 1991.
