Women and Law Exeter

We are a student-led group that aims to empower women to pursue legal careers through improving accessibility and opportunity. We also aim to raise awareness for the obstacles faced by women in the legal industry through engaging in discourse about pertinent topics with legal professionals. Some of the events and opportunities we provide include: *Regular career focused events, from applications advice to insight events with solicitors, barristers and others from within the legal industry. *Skills workshops and networking opportunities. *A mentor scheme that pairs career-focused students with professionals in the field. *Pro Bono opportunities for our members. *Regular social events to form a support network for our members. *Opportunities to publish our members work on legal blogs and our newsletter.
