Women in Global Health (WGH) was founded in 2015 when four women in the health sector met on social media outraged that women are the majority in the sector but hold only a minority of global health leadership roles. Today, we are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with 55 Chapters in 51 countries, and over 6,000 members.
