Hello World! We are Women in Technology (WIT) at The University of Sydney. The Australian Computer Societys 2023 Digital Pulse report found that women make up only 29% of the tech workforce in Australia. WIT is a society passionately dedicated to empowering women at The University of Sydney so they can thrive in the technology industry despite underrepresentation. WIT has three aims at The University of Sydney: 1. Empowering women by providing opportunities for them to gain valuable experiences. 2. Building networks by connecting members, alumni and industry sponsors. 3. Creating pipelines for students by holding events that foster professional development.
