Women on Board asbl vzw Created in December 2009 Objective: to promote access of women to directorship roles in Belgian enterprises, public and private Primary goals: create a pool of women candidates board members Introduce the concept of competences and skills Take action to promote the initiative and facilitate access of Belgian enterprises to this pool. With the financial support of the Federal Ministry and Belgian Institute for The Equality of Women and Men (IEFH/IGVM), of the Region of Wallonia, Brussels Capital and the Flemish Region as well. Women on Board is a non for profit organisation created in December 2009 with the aim to promote female participation on Boards of Directors, important committees and decision-making bodies in small and large Belgian companies in both the public and private sector.
