We are Woodland, a Startup that is specialised in data. We are NOT going to tell you Big Data are the future. First of all because the big part of this statement is very vague and not much more than marketing terminology. Secondly, because data are not the future. They are the present. We DO claim (and hope to have some impressive numbers to confirm this soon) that using data can be very valuable for organisations in all sectors. Data contain information and with the right set of knowledge and skills, this information can be extracted and used to make better decisions, make better predictions or improve the information position of citizens, employees or clients. And that is where our heart is: Improvement by data. We help organisations acquire, store, analyse, visualise and/or share data, whether it is big, small, open or closed
