Wooriro was founded in 1998 and began producing Planar Lightwave Circuit (PLC) devices along with PLC related devices such as optical splitters, Arrayed Waveguide Grating(AWG) devices. Wooriro introduced those superb products to optical communication market. Wooriro believes it contributed significantly to the establishment of FTTH networks worldwide. Inevitably, Wooriro became a world-wide leader in PLC splitter. Wooriro expanded its production of InGaAs Photodiode (PD) for commercial optical communication and defense use in 2010.
