Work Ready Africa

Founded in 2019 in Sierra Leone, Work Ready Africa (WRA) aims to address a key workforce gap that Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) across most of Sub-Saharan Africa face; access to talent that have sufficient work-ready skills to enable them rapidly scale and compete in the regional and global marketplace. WRA believes that a thriving private sector in Sierra Leone fuelled by the increased flow of growth capital from investors not only provides placement opportunities for our students but will also lead to a virtuous cycle of reduced brain drain, increased partnerships between the private sector and educational institutions (to strengthen the learning content/material delivered) and higher salaries for young graduates which in turn would further boost the growth of the private sector.
