It is an international relief, development and advocacy NGO dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. World Vision opened its office in Tbilisi in 1996 in response to the countrys dire need for economic assistance and intervention in the lives of Georgias poor and vulnerable. All of World Vision Georgias projects are built around two core competencies: children and youth, and poverty reduction.
