From its founding in 1950 as World Wide Supply, World Wide Fittings has grown into a global manufacturer of steel and stainless hydraulic tube and pipe fittings. Initially World Wide built its reputation as a supplier of cold formed hydraulic tube nuts & sleeves as well as SAE O ring boss plugs which are produced on conventional screw machines. Having captured the majority of the market in the USA for these products World Wide began its overseas expansion in 1998 with the opening of our European stocking facility and technical center in Birmingham, England and follow that with the establishment of two manufacturing facilities in China in 2003-2004. Actual ownership of our manufacturing facilities in China is an important distinction versus many of our competitors.
