Worshipful Company of Information Technologists

The Worshipful Company of Information Technologists (WCIT) is the 100th Livery Company of the City of London. Like all Livery companies, we aim to give something back to our industry and to our community. We focus on four pillars of activity:- Charity we raise money and use the IT skills of our members to improve the lives of those who are disadvantaged in society. Education our members promote career opportunities in the IT sector. WCIT jointly sponsored Hammersmith Academy with the Mercers and we also support the Lilian Baylis Technology School. Industry and Commerce we encourage debate and awareness about significant IT issues as well as promoting the importance of IT in society today. Fellowship where, simply, we have a full programme of social activity. These range from lectures and seminars, visits to places of interest, informal drinks through to lunches and dinners in some of the finest venues in the City
