Roy Wright, founded the company in Canada in the 1950s as Roy Wright, Ltd. contractors supplies & equipment, Wrights Rental Service, Ltd. contractors, commercial, industrial, homeowners, party equipment rental & supplies, and Steeltrue Structures, Ltd. selling and erecting rigid frame clear span structures. In the 60s and 70s we evolved into A-1 Rent-Alls, Ltd., and Engineered Equipment, Ltd. In the 80s we expanded in the U.S. when Tom & Nancy Wright started The Wright Group, which has grown to the family of companies listed on the bottom of this page, thanks to loyal clients like Joe Lang of Jazz Aspen Snowmass, as well as our team of excellent employees. Dave Wright graduated in 1972 and jumped head first into the rental business, 30 years later has seen the company grow and expand thru North America.
