WSU Office of Academic Engagement

Office of Academic Engagement (OAE) is a reporting unit of the Provosts Office and was developed to support student engagement in learning and highly impactful experiences at Washington State University. OAE programs aim to be a launchpad for students to engage with faculty, academic offices, and other resources with the ultimate goal of developing students who are able to persist and complete their degree in a timely manner and are well prepared for life after graduation. OAE is a collaborative effort of students, staff and faculty who work to achieve these objectives in three ways: 1. By being a clearinghouse of available engagement opportunities for undergraduates and working to develop the means by which all Cougs may participate in experiences such as study abroad, internships, research or creative work with a faculty mentor, or leadership opportunities. 2.
