Wyandanch-Wheatley Heights Ambulance Corp

The Wyandanch-Wheatley Heights Ambulance Corp. (WWHAC) provides Emergency Medical Services within the Wyandanch Wheatley Heights Ambulance Improvement District, which encompasses four square miles. Since our establishment in 1979, we have been providing 24 hour response, 7 days a week. We became a New York State Certified Ambulance Service in 1983, the first in the town of Babylon and one of the first on Long Island. In 1984, the WWHAC began to provide Advanced Life Support to the community. In addition, we were the first in New York State to provide an Advanced Life Support First Responder Car and the first to utilize Supervisors vehicles to further facilitate operations. The Wyandanch Wheatley Heights Corporation consists of the Board of Directors, volunteer members, and paid EMTs & paramedics.
