YKKS project implementations were carried out with the spirit of togetherness, gender equality, respect for childrens rights and human rights, child-friendly, regardless of political sects, race, gender, religion, and social strata. In carrying out services, YKKS paid attention to gender equality and in its vision of organizing womens groups to be empowered and independent for their welfare. This institution has been established since September 8, 1977 and during that period, YKKS was involved in empowerment programs, especially for women. YKKS is currently a Semarang local partner for Childfund International in Indonesia
