YDance (Scottish Youth Dance)

YDance (Scottish Youth Dance) is the award-winning national dance organisation for children and young people in Scotland. YDance works through key partnerships in education, culture, health and sport, to provide a range of high-quality dance experiences across three main areas of work - Talent Development, Education and Participation. Our Talent Development projects include: The National Youth Dance Company of Scotland - the flagship contemporary dance company for Scotlands exceptional young dancers aged 16 - 21. The Project Y Performance Course - 4-week intensive dance performance course for ages 16 - 25. Destinations - the national youth dance performance platform for youth dance companies from across Scotland. Hothouse - a choreographic training programme for ages 14 - 21 designed to inspire and develop the next generation of choreographers.
