Thousands of women in India lack an opportunity to earn. While in poverty, they fail to educate their children and fail to live a life of dignity & respect. YellowBag Foundation makes cloth bags from cotton, jute, and other sustainable materials for international brands. This empowers women, creates fair earning opportunities, and enhances self-esteem for women while facilitating the consumption of sustainable products. All our bags are made by our network of tailors Tulasi Women Tailoring Network. This is a network of women who run small tailoring units or work at social impact-focused garment-making facilities. Our women are well trained to make international quality products meeting international compliance needs like GOTS & Fair Trade.
