YMCA Newcastle

YMCA Newcastle is the oldest independent youth charity in Newcastle. We believe that every young person and all members of our community should be able to develop their full potential in body, mind and character. We are an independent charity that has been working to support Newcastles young people for almost 170 years. We do this by providing young people with the opportunity, resources and support to develop into freethinking, responsible and economically independent adults. We are part of the World Federation of YMCAs, making us part of the largest and oldest youth organisation in the World. Last year we supported 2,465 young people across Newcastle by empowering them to improve their heath, fitness and well-being, access training, education and employment, provide crisis support and so much more.
