YMCA of Middletown

Our YMCA Association began its service to the City of Middletown in 1882, and over the subsequent 136 years, expanded to serve all of Orange County and Southern Sullivan County. Although our name indicates our historical beginnings at our main branch at 81 Highland Avenue in Middletown, it does not adequately reflect all that we do within a 30 mile radius of our associations headquarters. Currently, we operate primarily out of four facilities including our main branch and association headquarters in Middletown known as the YMCA of Middletown, the South Orange Family YMCA (nicknamed SOFY) in Monroe, the YMCA of Sullivan County in Rockhill, and The Center For Youth Programs in Middletown. The YMCA has three primary areas of focus: Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility.
