The Hospitality Junior Board is a development programme that has 3 objectives: 1) Identify future leaders 2) Build skills 3) Change the perception of the sector Hospitality is an exciting, creative and diverse sector but due to the pressures it has been under over the past few years it must look at new ways to flourish, including how it attracts and retains talent. The Board brings together a group of young managers from the sector, lasts 6 months and is held together by monthly Board meetings. - The Board meetings will include peer to peer discussion, project work, development workshops and planning - Outside of the Board meetings each will get a highly skilled mentor and an opportunity to get involved in various projects - Over and above this is the opportunity to network, collaborate, and build lasting relationships Hospitality is a key sector for York & North Yorkshire.
