Young Family Farms

Our farm grows about 2,700 acres of irrigated wheat, malt barley, and alfalfa. Most of our wheat is classified as Hard Red Winterhigh quality protein wheat used in milled products such as hearth breads, hard rolls, and tortillas. Our malt barley is primarily used in brewing, and is also used as a dough enhancer and in breakfast cereals. Most of our premium-quality alfalfa is shipped to the Magic Valley to support Idahos dairy industry, but is also shipped throughout the region and around the world
