The Professional Network for Young People in the Rail Industry Young Rail Professionals was founded in 2009 to bring together young people from across the global railway industry, starting with young members from across the UKs railway related institutions. It has rapidly expanded, and continues to grow as young people join the industry and get involved with the YRP from both the UK, Europe and across the globe. As railways experience a great time of growth and investment, it is more important than ever that strong relationships across organisations are built, and best practice shared across the world through a vibrant, dynamic network, making the most of social media and tapping into the skills of rails young and enthusiastic employees.
