Youth For Climate India

Were a youth-led climate action group educating and mobilizing youth across India to make climate justice a priority for people and politics. The group started in Jan 2020 from campus organizing, where we have engaged different cultural (music, drama, art) societies to use their art to bring public attention to the climate crisis. We have also used college festivals to advance the conversation around climate justice. Since 2020, our focus has been on making the climate movement more accessible for young people throughout India either by creating entry points, removing language barriers, or organizing training. In past two years, Our team has grown from 3 to 30 and our community has grown to 8000 people out of which 1500+ support our on-ground actions in 30+ cities/towns including Palakkad, Faridabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Pune, Meerut, Manipur, Guwahati, Patna, Naihati, Nagpur, Moradabad, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Vishakapatnam, Barak Valley, Trivdendrum and Delhi. & we wont stop un...
