Founded in 1988 as a result of a privatization initiative of the Province of British Columbia, Yellowhead Road & Bridge has performed Road and Bridge maintenance services in 11 Service Areas throughout BC. Between 1988 and 2022, YRB has delivered over 110 years of contract-years of service to the Province and delivered Road and Bridge maintenance services to Canada on the Alaska Highway from May 2013 to March 2016. Our Founders goal was to provide the same high level of service historically delivered by the Province: a service born out of the skill and dedication of the employees. In pursuit of this goal, the concepts of employee ownership have proven to be the key and have formed an integral part of every one of our operations.
