Yukon Employees Union

Yukon Employees Union is a dynamic organization headquartered in Whitehorse Yukon. Our union represents approximately 5000 members in over 20 bargaining units. We are a component of the Public Service Alliance of Canada, one of Canadas largest public sector unions. We represent workers in every Yukon community, across a wide spectrum of careers. Our members are blackjack dealers and highway graders, wildlife biologists, geologists and nurse practitioners, and all professions in between. We advocate for the rights of all workers, unionized or not. Our staff are highly trained, and our Labour Relations Advisors work closely with the volunteer Shop Steward network to ensure members receive quality representation at every point of contact with the Union. The staff of YEU also develop and deliver training to our members and our volunteer network. Negotiations and Adjudications support is provided by the PSAC. Our staff are unionized, represented by the Carpenters Local 2599
