The Yuma County Water Users Association (Yuma, Arizona) was founded in 1903, just one year after the passing of the Reclamation Act, as a private non-profit corporation under the laws of the Territory of Arizona for the development and funding of the Valley Division of the Yuma Project. The Project is one of the oldest and most successful of Reclamation projects. Our landowners hold the most senior Colorado River water entitlements in the state.
