Gary A. Yupangco had built successful enterprises in the fields of textile manufacturing and real estate. Other than his family and some of his closest friends, few people knew that Gary was an accomplished musician. During more somber moments and away from the din of corporate life, he would be found playing classical masterpieces on his treasured Yamaha grand piano together with wife Nita, herself a gifted concert pianist. It was at one of these moments that Gary came to a realization. He observed that, like him, millions of other Filipinos were imbued with an inate musical gift that needed little prodding to be unleashed and developed into a skill. Gary A. Yupangco also anticipated the dawning of a most significant period in the history of music - the Age of Electronics. It was an era of sophisticated technology ushered into by the introduction of the phenomenal electronic organ. Thus, in early 1967, G. A.
