Rafi Group was established in 1978.Very few knew anything about commercial plazas at that time. To begin with, Rafi Group gave Lahore two plazas Rafi Plaza and Zaitoon Plaza - on Hall Road then came the Hall Road Centre, again on Hall Road.The Group set yet another trend by introducing the Green Acre Farm Housing Scheme. Rafi Group then went on to build one of the most modern plazas, namely, the Empire Centre on main Boulevard Gulberg, which initiated the trend of constructing commercial plazas in the area.
