Zaman International

Founded in 1996, Zaman International is a non-profit organization committed to addressing the basic needs and empowerment of marginalized women and children locally and internationally. Our client families receive dignified, wraparound services at our Hope for Humanity Center in Inkster, MI. Families can utilize our on-site client-choice food pantry and clothing closet, receive case management services, and enroll in skills training courses to help break the cycle of poverty. In 2017, we opened our Culinary Arts Training Kitchen which will provide client and community classes as well as nutritious meals to those in need. The number of individuals served in our homebase of Southeast Michigan since 1996 exceeds 215,000. This assistance includes 8,000 hours of job skills and literacy instruction and the distribution of 1,018,000 pounds of food.
