ZhongShan Hospital, Fudan University

Zhongshan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University is a subsidiary of the National Health and Wellness Commission and a comprehensive teaching hospital affiliated to Fudan University. The hospital opened in 1937 and was one of the earliest large-scale comprehensive hospitals created and managed by the Chinese. It was named after the National Shanghai Medical College and named after Sun Yat-sen, the pioneer of the Chinese democratic revolution. After liberation, he was called Zhongshan Hospital of Shanghai First Medical College and Zhongshan Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Medical University. In 2001, he changed his current name and used it to date. He is the first batch of Grade A hospitals in Shanghai.
