Zinoju Coal

Buffalo coal is a coal exploration and mining company with operations and projects in Kwa-Zulu Natal. The two mines, Magdalena and Aviemore, have substantial coal resources. Magdalena is an underground mine, situated approximately 24 km north of Dundee and supplies bituminous raw coal to the on-site coal washing plant. The Aviemore reserves are currently mined at the Aviemore East Mine, which is an underground anthracite mine supplying raw coal to the Coalfields washing facility, approximately 14 km by road from the mine site, in Dundee, Kwa-Zulu Natal. The mine is approaching the end of its life.
