Zohar was started in 1987 by Isabelle Tanugi. From the beginning Zohar has produced advertising campaigns of the highest quality as well as documentaries and music videos for both the Brazilian and International market. In 1991, Carlos Paiva joined as partner of the Production Company. In 1994, ZOHAR started to produce and co-produce featured films and short films as well. Isabelle Tanugi Born in Tunisia, brought up in Paris, moved by curiosity to Brazil in 1981. Started then working on wild documentaries in Rio. Started her ad career in Sao Paulo in 1982 from trainee to executive Producer. Started Zohar in 1987 Carlos Paiva Working in film production since 1983. Has produced hundreds of commercials, around the world. Was a location manager on the documentary produced by Francis Ford Copolla Powaqatsi and on the feature films Prisioner of Rio and Kuarup.
