Zurich Financial Services Australia Limited (Zurich) is the local arm of the Zurich Insurance Group Ltd, a global insurance and financial services company. In Australia, we operate under two brands across the following lines of business - general insurance, life insurance, and savings and investments products. We also offer travel insurance through the Cover-More Group, which was acquired by Zurich Insurance Group Ltd in April 2017. The Australian lineage of the Zurich Group dates back to 1920 when the Commonwealth General Assurance Corporation Ltd (CGA) was incorporated in New South Wales. CGA became a part of the Zurich Financial Services Group in 1961. Today, Zurich Financial Services Australia employs approximately 1,800 employees, of 54,000 around the world.
